A growing and dynamic organisation in Redcar is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its expanding finance team. This role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and business-wide decision-making, making it perfect for newly qualified accountants, finalists, or anyone with strong analytical and finance experience looking to step into a business-facing finance role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, and variances)
2. Provide weekly and monthly financial reporting and analysis
3. Monitor revenue, utilisation, and costs against forecasts and budgets
4. Manage fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments
5. Conduct advanced Excel-based analysis and reporting
6. Support finance system and software implementations
7. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and forecasting accuracy
Skills & Experience
8. ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalist
9. Practice background is advantageous but not essential
10. Strong Excel and analytical skills
11. Confident communicator with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
12. Interest in influencing business decisions and driving financial performance
