In the UK, Safran Seats specialises in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.
Job summary
This role has responsibility for leading two key areas of transformational change for SEATS GB: (1) Business Transformation, ensuring our 3-year transformative plan is well aligned with business functions; (2) coaching the organisation in developing and driving an effective Continuous Improvement journey.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership for two core areas of transformational change within SEATS GB.
* Ensure matrix alignment with all business transformation leaders to maintain integration and a cohesive portfolio of projects.
* Promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and innovation that values learning and quality.
* Support development of a network of staff engaged in initiatives at Company and BU levels to ensure visibility and alignment of SGB activities.
* Deliver timely and appropriate feedback, training and development for team members involved in transformational projects (not direct reports), in coordination with project managers.
* Lead and mentor the CI team, and manage the leadership of several Black Belt CI Leaders.
