EXPERIENCED ESTIMATOR REQUIRED FOR AN IMMEDIATE START
BASED IN DARTFORD – LOCAL COMMUTE NECESSARY
SALARY UP TO £50,000 PA
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to provide outstanding cost analysis and estimating services for our Landscape Construction projects in preparation for the sales team. This includes the ownership and supporting of projects by liaising with external consultants and clients to the point that they are handed over to the operational teams. In addition, you will help implement core process and governance in the tendering process for consistent preparation of documentation.

The Role in brief: To determine the cost of projects by analysing plans, calculating material, labour, and equipment expenses, and gathering quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Key duties include preparing bids and quotations, managing project budgets against forecasts, assessing risks, and liaising with clients, design teams, and other stakeholders.
Experience and skills required: You will have current work experience of 3 years or more within an estimating role, preferably in Landscaping but alternatively in a Construction or Groundworks company and you will:
* Ideally have CAD and/or estimating software experience but training can be given.
* Have experience in preparing and submitting tenders for Commercial Landscaping, Groundwork or General Construction works.
* Have an understanding of Contracts and Project risk management.
* Have good general IT skills including MS Office.
* Be organised with good time management and used to meeting tender deadlines.
* Have good communication, analysis and advanced reporting skills.
* Be a team player with a flexible attitude
* Be based a commutable distance of Dartford, Kent
In return we are offering up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience, fantastic workplace benefits and the opportunity for progression.
This is a full-time role, from Monday through to Friday, from 7.30am to 4.30pm each day with a paid break.
