Subcontracts Manager

This role sits within STS in the Integrated Solutions business unit. Integrated Solutions is the engineering and project delivery group providing services that include front‑end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction services, and program management primarily in the hydrocarbons and energy transition industries.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and manage a portfolio of Large EPC/M Package Contracts and Site Services Agreements associated with the Project.
* Prepare and issue tender documentation where applicable.
* Compile tender documentation, ensuring the package is complete and viable; strategize and hold tender clarification meetings.
* Facilitate information to and from tenderers; issue tender bulletins and clarification documentation.
* Ensure that technical and commercial negotiation evaluations and strategies are carried out in a timely manner.
* Prepare and manage the issuance of contracts and their documentation; prepare and hold Kick‑Off Meetings.
* Plan, develop and execute post‑award contract management activities; responsible for contract close‑out.
* Report contract progress from pre‑award to post‑award through project systems.
Relationships
* Works with multi‑discipline project team.
* Deal with contractors, OIMs and suppliers.
* Deal with client and KBR stakeholders.
Education & Experience
* BSc. or university degree in a major legal, business or engineering branch (e.g., mechanical, civil, electrical, chemical or equivalent).
* Previous experience within KBR is advantageous.
* EPCM experience essential.
* Relevant years in developing and executing contracts & procurement within oil & gas projects.
