Located at Beacon Lodge, our mental health step-down unit is designed to help individuals transition from acute mental health wards back into the community. If you are passionate about empowering people, this role offers you the chance to support individuals in gaining the skills they need to live independently.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Recovery Worker, you will:
* Provide person-centered care through tailored recovery-focused support, including key working sessions and group activities.
* Enable individuals to develop new skills and promote their long-term recovery.
* Work collaboratively with clients to create personalized support and risk management plans.
* Ensure effective discharge planning, helping clients transition smoothly back into the community.
* Manage a small caseload while assisting with the day-to-day operations of the service.
This role requires you to work on a 24-hour rolling rota, which includes 12-hour day and waking night shifts, along with alternate weekends.

The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience in the mental health sector and a solid understanding of the recovery model.
* Possess a solution-focused attitude and a strong commitment to a person-centered approach.
* Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Exhibit a genuine interest in helping others, with a deep level of empathy, understanding, and patience.
