We are looking to recruit a Counselling or Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult CMHT at Chatterton House, Goodwins Road, Kings Lynn (West Norfolk). The psychology and therapeutic team includes Clinical Psychology, CBT, CAT, Art, DBT and CAPS therapists.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide assessment, consultation formulation and individual and group therapy for service users accessed by the CMHT.
* Deliver supervision to other team members and oversee service evaluation activities.
* Keep a protected caseload and develop a job plan aligned with BPS guidance, allowing time for CPD.
* Work closely with multidisciplinary professionals and support further therapy training as needed.
Person Specification
* Qualifications
o Post‑graduate degree in clinical psychology accredited by the BPS (or equivalent).
o Registered or due to be registered with the HCPC within 12 months.
o Evidence of specialist short‑course training and supervisor training.
* Experience >
* Band 7 qualified clinical psychologist with demonstrable experience of supervising trainees.
* Experience working with a wide range of client groups, including high‑severity cases.
* Experience of presenting the role of psychology within an MDT context.
1. Skills
* Expertise in psychological assessment and intervention methodologies.
* Experience designing and delivering training programmes and supervision.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
2. Knowledge
* Doctor level understanding of research design, methodology and multivariate data analysis.
* Knowledge of mental‑health legislation and compliance with BPS CPD recommendations.

Remuneration and Details
* Band 8a – £55,690 to £62,682 per annum (pro‑rata)
