Branch Manager - Manchester
We are looking for a experienced Branch Manager, who has worked in electrical wholesale or distribution previously, to lead our clients branch in Manchester. As a Branch Manager, your key purpose will be to grow revenue and gross profit through developing the business from there existing customer base and acquiring new customers. You will be responsible for managing costs to maximise net profit and ensuring operational excellence.
Job Description:
* Grow revenue and gross profit through developing the business
* Manage costs to maximise net profit
* Assist customers in branch and over the phone with customer service, technical support, and sales inquiries
* Drive new business into the branch through proactive sales techniques
* Collaborate with head office colleagues and Directors to ensure operational excellence and maximise business performance
* Lead and motivate direct reports to achieve sales forecasts, KPIs, business growth, and professional development
* Manage stock control, cash, and operational processes
Main Responsibilities:
* Sales forecasting
* Track performance to forecasts/targets and provide feedback on results
* Conduct weekly team meetings to share business updates on performance and operations
* Assist customers with queries, face to face, via email, or phone
* Process orders
* Manage quoting and pipeline
* Control stock and cash
* Ensure operational excellence from front of house to back office
