Job Title: Product Research Virtual Assistant — UAE Market
About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented VA to handle product research for home furnishing and interior purchases in the UAE. You'll research specific product categories (e.g. sofas, dining table, rugs, TV Units), compile your findings into a clean, easy-to-browse presentation deck, and in some cases reach out to custom furniture makers to get quotes.
This is an ongoing role with regular research tasks. If you're organised, thorough, and good at presenting information cleanly, this is a great fit.
What You'll Do
• Research a given product category across UAE-based websites and local stores
• Build a slide deck (Google Slides or PowerPoint) per product type with one product per slide containing:
• Product photo
• Store name
• Product name
• Price (in AED)
• Dimensions
• URL / source link
• Contact custom furniture stores or makers via email/WhatsApp to request quotes when instructed. I will provide furniture store names.
• Deliver completed decks within an agreed turnaround time
Requirements
• Strong English — written and verbal
• Experience with Google Slides or PowerPoint
• Comfortable browsing UAE e-commerce and retail websites
• Able to communicate professionally via email
• Reliable internet connection and available during UAE business hours (or reasonable overlap)
• Prior experience in product research or e-commerce preferred
Nice to Have
• Familiarity with UAE furniture/home brands (IKEA, Danube Home, Homes r Us, etc.) But also do more broad research on local furniture suppliers.
• Experience sourcing from local/boutique retailers
Hours & Pay
• Part-time to start — paid per completed research task / hourly
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
