Key Responsibilities
* Analysing drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare estimates in line with client requirements.
* Visiting sites to undertake surveys with an experienced proposals engineer and produce associated reports and tenders.
* Production of accurate quotations.
* Liaising with the Bid Manager in relation to the submission of bids and tenders.
* Communication with clients regarding quotation deadlines.
* Ensuring sent enquiries are followed‑up with the client.
* Updating CRM and ensuring enquiries are logged, won and handed over efficiently.
* Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
* Review engineering drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
* Support site surveys and compile associated survey reports.
* Maintain and update internal quotation and enquiry records.
* Liaise with internal teams including Proposals Engineers, Project Managers and the Bid Manager.
* Communicate with clients to clarify requirements, deadlines and follow‑up actions.
* Ensure all enquiries are entered, updated and tracked through the CRM.
* Participate in handover meetings to ensure a smooth transition from tender to delivery.
The Role
* Contracted to 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday.
* Initially on‑site at our Midsomer Norton Office, progressing to Hybrid Working.

Skills & Qualifications
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Competent in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
* Willingness to undertake site visits and work in both office and field environments.
* Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn within a technical environment.
* Qualification in an applicable field.
