Intermediate Electrical Engineer
Location: London (with remote working)
Are you an enthusiastic Electrical Design Engineer looking to enhance your career with a dynamic and growing consultancy? My client is a small building services consultancy based in London, currently focusing on the residential sector, but with exciting opportunities to work on data centres and hospital projects. Join a team of six dedicated MEP engineers and gain invaluable experience, including the option for secondment to their business headquarters in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the design and implementation of electrical systems for a variety of projects, including residential, data centres, and hospitals.
2. Support senior engineers in project management tasks, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
3. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and effective engineering solutions.
5. Participate in weekly on-site meetings in London, with flexible remote working arrangements.
6. Opportunity to be seconded to their South African HQ, working in a larger team on significant data centre and hospital projects.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the building services sector.
3. Strong technical skills and proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech and Dialux).
4. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
5. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
