About the Department The Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions (MSRA) directorate delivers a professional and responsive service to the University to ensure that student number targets are met by recruiting and admitting well-qualified applicants. This includes development and delivery of exciting marketing campaigns to communicate the values of SOAS and the benefits of studying here, processing applications in an efficient way, and developing ambitious student recruitment strategies for the UK, EU and International markets. MSRA is made up of six teams: Marketing – Shortlisted for HEIST ‘Marketing Team of the Year’ (2023) Student Recruitment Admissions Communications Corporate Events Language Centre About the Role As a key member of the SOAS HEIST shortlisted ‘Marketing Team of the Year’, the Conversion Manager is responsible for ensuring we have a clear conversion strategy for effectively managing incoming prospective student enquiries and effectively utilising the School's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) service provider to deliver a high standard of communication and customer service. The Conversion Manager is responsible for the overall conversion communications for prospects (from enquirer to applicant to enrolled student) across Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Online, and Research, and development and implementation of an Enquirers and Offer Holders Nurture Track (call backs, webinars, and email communication strategy). This role will also work closely with the Admissions and Recruitment team to ensure we are aligned with processes and the overall recruitment pipeline.
