We are currently seeking experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs in both mainstream and specialist settings. The Role:
You will be working one-on-one or in small groups to support children with a variety of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning difficulties. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, patient, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, following individual learning plans or EHCPs
*
Assist class teachers in creating inclusive and engaging learning environments
*
Help pupils develop socially, emotionally, and academically
*
Promote independence and positive behaviour
*
Work collaboratively with school staff and external professionals
*
Maintain accurate records and provide feedback to teachers and SENCOs
What We’re Looking For:
*
Experience working with children with SEN (in schools, care, or similar settings)
*
A calm, adaptable, and empathetic approach
*
Good communication and teamwork skills
*
A genuine interest in child development and inclusive education
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
*
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning, or similar) are desirable but not essential
