What is needed as a Van Technician:
9. Level 2 or 3 Qualification preferred but happy to look at experience
10. Hold a full UK Driving Licence (this is essential for this role)
11. Be able to work to their own initiative, as well as within a team
12. Be self-motivated with a positive attitude
13. Be able to problem solve
14. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and undertake training as per professional competency requirements or delivered by the company.

What the role involves for a Van Technician:
22. Diagnose vehicle/ faults manually or with the aid of software/digital tools
23. Prepare cost and time estimates for work done
24. Repair and replace faulty vehicle parts
25. Refer repair or replacement to specialists where required
26. Maintain store of parts with help of the Stores team
27. Liaise with Transport Managers regarding the update of vehicle records
28. Act as mentor to Apprentices or work experience individuals
