Overview
The PHP Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the organisation’s back-end platform, writing clean, well-structured, and maintainable code, and contributing to the planning and delivery of digital projects.
Responsibilities

* Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code.
* Contribute to the planning and delivery of digital projects.
* Lead on all phases of the development lifecycle.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand organisational and user requirements.
* Provide technical expertise to integrate and optimise digital systems.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience creating and maintaining PHP-based systems.
* Strong knowledge of MySQL and MVC programming principles.
* Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js.
* Proficient with version control systems (Git).
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
* Linux usage and administration.
* Advanced MySQL/SQL database management and administration.
* Experience working within large application codebases.
* Hybrid working (minimum 3 days per week onsite in Southampton).
* 46 days leave annually (30 days annual leave, plus closure days and bank holidays), with the option to purchase additional leave.
