Role Responsibility
Are you a motivated individual looking to make a difference in the lives of Kent residents?
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our small Business Innovation team to lead the delivery and development of an innovative social prescribing service – Positive Wellbeing. The service aims to reduce social isolation and loneliness. An important part of the role is building strong partnerships with other services and providers to expand service delivery and support more residents.
You will also work closely with the Business Innovation Manager to demonstrate the impact that place-based services have on public health outcomes and the wider determinants of health.
What You'll Do:
* Deliver and develop the Positive Wellbeing Service.
* Build a network of partners to deliver the service.
* Evaluate and report on the impact of the service by collecting and analysing data.
What We Need:
* Experience of partnership working.
* Knowledge of social prescribing and the wider determinants of health.
* A good understanding of data capture and analysis.

The Business Innovation Team is part of the Innovation and Business Intelligence (IBI) Group, responsible for service development, improvement, innovation, and support across the Growth & Communities division. IBI's core functions include data and intelligence management, systems oversight, digital innovation, and communications. We also operate a centralised business support function.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. Standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
