We are seeking an exceptional and visionary leader to join our executive team as Vice Principal – Quality & Student Experience. This role is a permanent full time working across the group, in Peterborough & Stamford
This is a full time (37 hours per week) permanent contract which will work across the group.
This is a pivotal strategic role responsible for leading the Group’s quality strategy and ensuring outstanding standards in teaching, learning, assessment and the overall student experience. Working closely with the Chief Learning Officer and Group Executive Team, you will drive continuous improvement across the organisation, ensuring that students remain at the heart of everything we do.
As Ofsted Nominee for the Group, you will play a key role in preparing the organisation for inspection and embedding a culture of excellence, innovation and accountability across all areas of provision. You will champion a highly supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables every learner to succeed and progress.
The role provides strategic leadership for quality assurance, safeguarding, student welfare, inclusion and additional learning support. Through strong leadership and collaboration, you will ensure a consistent and exceptional student experience across all provision types, including 14–16, study programmes, adult learning, apprenticeships and partner provision.
Key responsibilities of Vice Principal Quality & Student Experience:
1. Leading the Group’s quality strategy to achieve excellence in teaching, learning and assessment
2. Acting as Ofsted Nominee and leading inspection readiness and quality improvement activity
3. Driving continuous improvement through robust self-assessment, quality assurance and performance monitoring
4. Providing strategic oversight of safeguarding, Prevent, pastoral support and Additional Learning Support
5. Leading the development of the student experience strategy, ensuring wellbeing, inclusion and progression are central to the learner journey
6. Championing equality, diversity and inclusion across all areas of provision
7. Supporting the development of innovative teaching practice, digital learning and the implementation of the Group’s 21st Century Teaching, Learning and Assessment Strategy
8. Leading quality reporting and governance processes for the Corporation and Curriculum & Quality Committee
9. Providing strategic oversight of the College nursery provision and acting as Ofsted Nominee during early years inspections

You will be an inspirational and collaborative leader who can motivate teams, analyse performance effectively and lead meaningful change that improves outcomes for students.
