About the role
Join us as a School Kitchen Assistant at Chartwells Schools. In this part‑time position you will support our kitchen operations for 20 hours a week, helping to prepare delicious, high‑quality food for students and staff. You will be an integral part of a team that values excellence in food, brand pride, and people development.
Contract and schedule
This role is contracted to 20 hours per week, 44 weeks per year.
Shift pattern
* Mon: Full‑time (Days)
* Tues: Full‑time (Days)

* Thurs: Full‑time (Days)
* Fri: Full‑time (Days)
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare delicious, high‑quality food that delights our clients and customers.
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
* Ensure the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
* Assist with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
* Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
* Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
* Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
