Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full time, long-term
A specialist school in North Manchester is looking to recruit a full-time HLTA to support across the school.
This role is ideal for someone with strong classroom experience who is confident taking on additional responsibility, including leading sessions and covering lessons where required.
The Role
You will support both pupils and teaching staff, playing a key role in the delivery of learning and maintaining a structured environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading small group interventions
* Supporting lesson delivery across classes
* Providing classroom cover when required
* Supporting pupils with SEN and behavioural needs
* Working closely with teaching staff
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience as a HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant
* Confident leading sessions independently
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Organised and proactive approach
* Full-time availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
