INTERIM ACCOUNTANT - 6-MONTH CONTRACT Bristol | Full-time | Immediate Start
A great opportunity to join a well-established, global business on a 6-month interim basis, supporting a busy Finance Shared Services team based in Bristol.

Reporting to a Financial controller, you will take ownership of the general ledger across a portfolio of legal entities. This is a hands-on role covering the full month-end close cycle within a fast-paced shared services environment.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Preparing P&L and Balance Sheet reporting, including manual journals and adjustments
2. Month-end close activities including accruals, pre-close checks and corrections
3. Fixed asset accounting (including parallel GAAP)
4. Payroll, VAT and indirect tax accounting
5. Intercompany reconciliations and recharges
6. Inventory accounting and adjustments
7. Cash forecasting support and hedging valuations
8. Intrastat reporting
What we're looking for:
9. 2+ years of accounting experience in a similar environment
10. Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4
11. Solid understanding of US GAAP and/or local GAAP not essential but useful
12. Experience across the full GL cycle including VAT, fixed assets and payroll
13. Fluent English; additional European languages a bonus
