As a Stock Operative focusing on UK & International Despatch, you will ensure stock is accurately accounted for in the loading bay and store, enabling the sales team to deliver efficient service to our customers. Your responsibilities include managing the intake and distribution of deliveries, maintaining up-to-date paperwork, and proactively resolving any issues. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure timely receipt, unloading, and processing of deliveries. The role can be busy, requiring problem-solving skills and high standards of housekeeping, with a strong emphasis on safety and security practices.


As a Stock Operative, you will:

1. Support in organizing and prioritizing deliveries to ensure timely receipt and processing, and proper distribution to store departments.
2. Collaborate with B&M on RTW/RTVs, supporting the sales team in stock collection and dispatch preparation, ensuring all items are processed and recorded.
3. Maintain accurate records of stock movements.
4. Keep the loading dock and back-of-house areas, including fire exits, clear and safe.
5. Manage stock movement between various locations.
6. Assist during peak periods with the operation of forklifts and other machinery.
7. Communicate regularly with stakeholders about incoming deliveries and any issues such as delays or missing deliveries.
8. Distribute deliveries to designated areas efficiently.

6. You can lift and move stock safely and securely.
