Teaching Assistant (TA2) We are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support the learning and progress of students with SEN. Predominantly this role will exist to support identified students with their learning experience throughout the school day. This will involve working alongside subject staff to plan and support work within the classroom which meets the needs of individual learners with SEN, including students of particular focus on our SEN register for: Cognition and Learning/Social, Mental and Emotional Health/Communication and Interaction/Sensory and / or Physical impairment. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to relate well to both children and adults, be able to work constructively as part of a team and have a goal driven approach to solving problems. 32.5 hours per week, typically 8.30am – 3.40pm, Monday – Friday term time plus 5 staff learning days; 39 weeks per annum. Starting salary for a full-time post at Band F (Points 6-11) is within the range £25,183 to £27,269 starting point depending on experience and qualifications. The actual salary based on the hours and weeks worked will be within the range £19,163 to £20,751 subject to any continuous service.
