As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for a proactive individual to lead resource capacity planning, ensuring optimal allocation for key roles in Group IT projects and programmes. In this role, you'll work closely with Resource Managers and Project Managers to resolve resourcing conflicts, support project planning, and maintain resource schedules. You'll also assist with onboarding and managing IT contractors, contribute to utilisation targets, and develop insightful resource-based reporting. Keeping data accurate within KeyedIn, handling timesheets, and providing training on resource and time management will be essential. Strong stakeholder engagement will be key, as you’ll communicate regularly with all levels of the business to foster collaboration and ensure resource planning aligns with organisational goals.

What you’ll bring

* Experienced in working in workforce planning or matrixed enterprise PMOs as a resource manager to do large scale resource planning.
* Confident in dealing with resource contention, clearing over allocated allocations and in non-conformance to timesheet or booking processes.
* Highly numerate and literate, with excellent written and oral communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to, and work closely with colleagues, clients and suppliers at all different levels of the business hierarchy
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills based on mutual trust and confidence, both internally and externally and a high level of integrity with the ability to resolve conflict with an outcome-focused working style;
* Highly organised, excellent time management ability, and a collaborative team player;
* Proven ability to network and influence at various levels, a positive can do attitude and be able to multi-task and handle working under pressure
