QAPM are well established provider of property maintenance services, delivering high-quality work on behalf of all local authorities and council's across Dundee and the surrounding areas. We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to join our team.
The Role
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical works across a variety of projects, ensuring all jobs are carried out to the highest standard of safety, quality, and compliance. You will manage a team of electricians, organise workloads, and liaise with clients and local authority representatives to ensure efficient delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day work of electricians and apprentices.
* Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements.
* Carry out quality checks and site inspections.
* Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
* Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines.
* Complete relevant documentation and reporting.
* Liaise with local authorities, clients, and management to maintain strong working relationships.
Requirements (Essential)
* SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation @ SCQF. FICA Assessment of Competence.
* Fully qualified electrician (18th Edition).
* Experience in a supervisory or senior electrician role would be beneficial
* Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and compliance.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
* Good communication and client-facing abilities.
* Full UK driving licence.
