Telent's Network Services division is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth through challenging projects.
The Cloud Engineer will develop and maintain technical relationships with customers, provide proactive service, and serve as a bridge between engineering and Service Delivery, Projects, and Service Desk to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities:
* Train internal staff and customers on products and solutions.
* Assist with Professional Services and Sales opportunities.
* Monitor customer incidents and report on accounts.
* Highlight trends, security threats, or technical bulletins impacting customers.
* Manage documentation related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services.
* Follow internal and external processes for tasks, reporting, and changes.
* Support PoC scenarios, Type Approval activities, and lab testing.
* Create TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW documentation.
* Review engineering documentation peer-wise.
* Assist in pre-staging equipment for customer sites.
* Participate in customer meetings and reviews.
* Accurately submit timesheets and expenses.
* Ensure certifications align with business objectives.
* Adhere to GDPR and security policies.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate will have an interest in Cloud technologies, including some Azure knowledge, Linux, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange. Experience in a support environment and on-premise Cloud Services is desirable. Key skills include:
* Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA)
* Networking knowledge
* SQL Server experience
* Azure MFA and Identity Services
* VMware vCloud Director knowledge
* Leadership qualities and excellent communication skills
