Job Description
Work under direction, and in a person-centred way, to enable service users (children with disabilities / additional support needs, young people, and families) to maximise their quality of life, independence, and opportunities for recovery. This is achieved through enhancing participation in community life by developing and coordinating support, information systems, and resources.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organisation.
The working hours are 21.75 per week, to be worked over three full working days. Working days are negotiable.

Requirements
This post involves regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join or update the PVG Scheme. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK within the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. The outcome of these checks must be satisfactory for employment to commence.
This post requires a minimum of two references, one of which must be your current or most recent employer.
