About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering Butlins' food propositions. You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards. You will oversee small teams of commis chefs, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to develop your skills and progress in your career.
You will deputize for the sous chef in their absence, manage daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and compliance with food safety policies. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and adhering to health and safety regulations are essential. You will lead, train, and mentor commis chefs, preparing and cooking dishes as per recipes, maintaining food diaries, and controlling budget margins with support from senior staff.
Key Responsibilities
We seek individuals with experience at a similar level or those looking to advance their culinary careers. You should be hardworking, reliable, and proactive in improving team standards. Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude are important, along with a Level 3 Food Safety qualification. You will manage margins, costs, and ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards. This full-time, permanent role offers 35 hours per week, with shifts between 7 am and midnight, including weekends. Accommodation on resort can be provided for those relocating.
