Old Mill is seeking an organised and proactive Events Executive to join our Business Development team.
In this maternity cover role, you will coordinate and deliver a programme of high-quality client-facing and market-facing events across Old Mill and the wider Kinbrook Group. These events play an important role in strengthening relationships, enhancing our brand presence and supporting business development activity.
Based from any of our South West offices, you will be the go-to person for external events coordination, ensuring every event runs smoothly and reflects the professionalism and warmth that define Old Mill.
The Role
You will coordinate a varied programme of in-person and virtual events, working closely with colleagues across the Group.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering seminars, client briefings, roundtables, sponsorship activations and community events.
* Managing end-to-end logistics including venues, catering, AV, accessibility and virtual platforms.
* Overseeing invitations, registrations and attendee tracking through our CRM systems.
* Liaising with speakers, suppliers and venues to ensure professional, cost-effective delivery.
* Working with Marketing and Communications to ensure consistent branding and materials.
* Managing event budgets, tracking expenditure and processing invoices.
* Supporting post-event follow-up and reporting on attendance and feedback.
You will provide the structure and organisation that keeps the programme on track. For larger events, you will attend in person to ensure a seamless experience.
What We're Looking For
You will have experience coordinating corporate, client-facing or community events and be confident managing multiple priorities at once.
You will be highly organised, calm under pressure and solutions-focused, with strong communication skills and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders and external suppliers. Financial awareness and experience managing budgets are important.
Experience within professional services would be advantageous, but strong event coordination experience is the priority.
Above all, you will care about quality and understand that every event is an opportunity to build lasting relationships.
Location and Working Pattern
This role can be based from any of our South West offices and follows our hybrid model of three days a week in the office. Travel to attend larger events will be required.
