To continue their growth trajectory they are looking to appoint a SVP Commercial to lead on the strategy and delivery of the Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams.The RoleReporting to the CEO and part of the executive leadership team this role will take responsibility for;
Developing ef?cient and high performing sales and marketing structureWorking with the executive leadership team and Head of Marketing to ensure that the product roadmap will address future customer demand and exploit opportunities in a cost-effective mannerWorking in partnership with marketing and through senior sales staff to ensure that, through customer engagement and marketing initiatives The value proposition is positioned in the market consistently and in line with strategic prioritiesLead coach, and develop Sales team engaged with high value solutions from the 100,000 - 1m+ markDevelop sales & marketing funnel to capture, engage and convert new and existing customers globallyLead on direct engagement with largest clientsThe PersonThe ideal person will have hands on commercial experience leading sales and marketing teams within a service or product environment selling into the global life science and Pharmaceutical market. You could have led teams within Research, data & analytics, Cyber & Risk, equipment, consultancy as an example but the value add for this organisation will be the knowledge, gravitas and credibility in the life science and pharma market. It's important that this person will understand the nature of working in an SME scale up - ability to flex between strategic and operational on a daily basis is fundamental to the success of the role.Candidates will demonstrate strong leadership and development of high performing teams.
