A superb opportunity has come to fruition for a Civil Engineering Graduate.\n\nOur client is a privately owned forward thinking marine contractor with a strong order book and an unrivalled benefits package.\n\nThey also offer great training and development opportunities and are recognised for their great culture, which puts their people first.\n\nProjects include; Mariners, Harbours, Water, Coastal, Flood frameworks\n\nKey Accountabilities;\n\n * To assist in the co-ordination of the team activities to ensure that the project is completed on budget and on time, in line with the agreed construction process.\n\n * To work with the procurement team to ensure compliance with financial parameters.\n\n * To assist in ensuring the project complies with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.\n\n * To assist the Project Manager on the management of the team, giving advice on appropriate resourcing levels, effective performance management, employee development and motivation.\n\n * Taking ownership for the work assigned to you.\n\n * Adhere to safe working practice regulations on site and ensure all staff comply with the requirement.\n\nSkills and Competence;\n\n * Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels\n\n * Excellent written and oral English language\n\n * Degree or master’s in engineering (All disciplines considered)\n\n * Motivated to learn and add value to the team, the role and the Graduate programme\n\n * Analytical thinker who enjoys problem solving\n\n * A proven team player who can effectively work with others\n\n * Enjoys working under pressure to meet deadlines\n\n * Proactive approach to working and learning\n\n * Commercial awareness and an understanding of the industry\n\n * Familiar with all Microsoft packages\n\nInterpersonal Skills;\n\n * Highly motivated\n\n * Logical thinker with a willingness to learn\n\n * Resilient and a flexible approach to working\n\n * Results driven with strong communication skills\n\n * Work independently with minimal supervision\n\nDesirable;\n\n * Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation\n\n * Engineering experience\n\n * CSCS Card\n\nEssential;\n\n * Must have right to work in the UK by the start of employment and throughout the entirety of the graduate program.\n\nOn offer;\n\n * A competitive salary package including a generous bi-annual bonus, 25 days holiday, 10% pension contribution and healthcare and full training /mentoring
