This role would suit a commercially minded professional who can manage tenders, contracts, budgets and stakeholder relationships, while helping to drive high standards across remediation projects.
The Role
* Lead commercial activities across remediation projects, including tenders, budgets, valuations, invoicing and final accounts.
* Manage subcontractor and consultant appointments, ensuring robust contractual and commercial controls are in place.
* Work closely with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders to deliver commercially successful projects.
* Review project risks, variations, compensation events and contractual obligations to protect business performance.
* Support cashflow forecasting, reconciliations, work in progress reporting and aged debt management.
* Oversee contract reviews, framework agreements and grant fund requirements, identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
* Chair project meetings, resolve commercial issues and escalate disputes where required.
* Mentor junior staff and direct reports, helping to build a high-performing and professional team culture.
