Warehouse AssistantManchester £16.50 per hour Initially 6-month contract37.5 hours per weekCertain Advantage is partnering with a leading energy company to recruit a Warehouse Assistant. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient handling of goods and maintaining excellent service levels with internal and external customers.Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and dispatch goods in line with departmental procedures
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
* Carry out picking, packing, loading, and unloading operations using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT)
* Manage finished goods stock control and accurate inventory records
* Ensure full compliance with internal quality systems and warehouse procedures
* Support health, safety, and environmental policies and practices
* Be willing to work flexibly across all warehouse locations within the business
Your Background:
* Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
* Strong awareness of workplace safety and quality compliance
* Flexible attitude and willingness to support wider warehouse operations
