Main duties of the job
For more detail about the main duties of this role, please see the job description section below. As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy, when they need it most.
Job responsibilities
* You will be part of our supportive and friendly dietetic team based at North Devon District Hospital.
* The paediatric dietetics team covers inpatient ward (children's and neonatal unit) as well as outpatient clinics such as nutritional support, diabetes, home enteral tube feeding, CMPA/allergies and eating disorders.
* You will provide face‑to‑face, telephone and video support to families.
* You will collaborate with the adult dietetics team and paediatric counterparts in our eastern services, creating a cosy team feel and the strength of a larger group.
* You will have the opportunity to join our buddy scheme and receive a tailored induction and local insights.
Qualifications
* Band 7 paediatric dietitian experience or equivalent.
* Experience with eating disorder or diabetes caseload is desirable.
* Experience in child and neonatal dietetics, including inpatient and outpatient settings.
* Strong communication skills to provide face‑to‑face, telephone and video support.
