Youll provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to fee-earners handling Wills, LPAs, Trusts, Probate, Estates and other important client matters. Key Responsibilities: Secretarial & Document Production Fast, accurate typing, digital dictation and audio transcription Preparing, formatting and proofreading letters and legal documents Using templates, precedents and case management systems Administrative Support Diary management, appointments and meeting coordination Handling mail, digital correspondence and electronic filing Scanning, printing and maintaining matter files Assisting with time recording, billing and file opening/closing Managing strong room procedures and original documents Private Client Work (training provided) Preparing Wills, LPAs, Codicils, Deeds and probate paperwork Binding/sewing and storing original documents Completing Land Registry forms and searches Supporting Trust and Estate administration Client Interaction Acting as a professional, friendly first point of contact Communicating clearly and sensitively with clients Keeping clients updated and supported throughout their matter What Were Looking For: Essential Proven legal secretarial experience, or strong secretarial experience in another professional sector Fast, accurate typing and digital dictation/audio transcription Confident with MS Office and able to learn new systems quickly Outstanding attention to detail Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle priorities Calm, professional communication style Respect for confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive documents Desirable Experience within Private Client (Wills, Probate, LPAs etc.) Knowledge of case management systems, iManage, Docusign, PDF Docs Understanding of legal procedures, billing, Lexcel compliance Youll thrive in this position if you are: Someone who enjoys supporting others and keeping a busy team running smoothly Highly accurate and organised A strong communicator who stays calm under pressure A natural problem solver with a can-do attitude A team player who contributes to a positive working culture
