Clinical Pharmacist (Primary Care) – Blackpool
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Location: Blackpool (Full-time, Hybrid)
MCG Healthcare is excited to partner with a well-established healthcare provider in Blackpool to recruit a talented Clinical Pharmacist. If you’re ready for a new challenge and are keen to make a difference in primary care, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver expert pharmaceutical care to patients in a GP practice setting.
2. Lead chronic disease management, including Asthma, COPD, and Diabetes.
3. Perform medication reviews and optimise treatments for better outcomes.
4. Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
5. Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and disease self-management.
Requirements:
1. Primary care experience is essential.
2. Proven experience managing chronic diseases like Asthma, COPD, and Diabetes.
3. A recognised pharmacy qualification.
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
5. The ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
