12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract: Private Banking Assistant (London)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an organised, client‑focused professional to join a leading international private banking environment on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and ismitted to delivering high‑quality client service.About the RoleAs a Private Banking Assistant, you will provide day‑to‑day support to Private Bankers across a broad range of operational, administrative and client‑facing activities. You’ll act as a key point of contact for clients, assist with account lifecycle processes, ensurepliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to a smooth and efficient client experience.Key Responsibilities
1. Support Private Bankers with all client account administration from opening through to closure
2. Process client instructions including payments, trades and corporate actions
3. Monitor client accounts daily, including cash management, overdrafts, and open trades
4. Maintain accurate client documentation and ensure timely resolution of any outstanding items
5. Review risk dashboards and act on alerts ahead of deadlines
6. Prepare pitches, presentations and fee simulations for client meetings
7. Participate in remediation exercises, regulatory projects and process‑improvement initiatives
8. Provide support and cover for other team members during peak periods or absences
9. Uphold conduct expectations and consistently act to deliver good customer oues
Experience Required
10. RDR Level 4 (or willingness to achieve within six months)
11. Previous experience in a private banking, wealth management or financial services environment
12. Strongmunication skills and confidence engaging directly with clients
13. Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to prioritisepeting demands
14. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build positive relationships across departments
15. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
16. Knowledge of private banking products and account types (corporate and personal)
17. Good understanding of major asset classes (equities, bonds, alternatives)
18. Familiarity with FCApliance expectations and private banking operational processes
