Royal Mail P&FS are recruiting for Cleaning Operatives at Worksop SSO, Worksop, S80 1AA. Job Reference Number: 330005. Pay: £12.21 per hour.
Contract type: Permanent. Working hours: Part time, 17.75 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. 3 hours a day Monday to Friday and 2 hours 45 minutes on Saturday. As part of Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions you will work from 10:00 to 13:00 as the only cleaner on site, ensuring we continue to deliver the high standards of service our customers expect.
Benefits: 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years’ service, plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme and Defined Contribution pension scheme plus car parking.
Location: Worksop SSO, Worksop, S80 1AA.
Responsibilities
* As a cleaning operative you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting and sanitising surfaces safely and professionally to a high standard.
* Operate a variety of cleaning equipment (full training and first day induction provided).
* Work will be physically challenging and involve manual handling activities.
About You
* Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential.
* Natural, friendly demeanor with good written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to communicate with customers and managers while complying with Health & Safety regulations.
* Reliable, self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work on your own initiative and manage your own time as you’ll be managed remotely.
