Class 1 HGV Tramping Driver

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV Tramping Driver to join our clients operation based in Linwood. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers seeking consistent, full-time work Monday to Friday, with overnight stays in the vehicle and excellent hourly pay at £20.00 .
You will be responsible for nationwide deliveries, operating in a professional and compliant manner, and maintaining high standards of vehicle care and communication.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out Class 1 trunking and deliveries across the UK.
* Tramp Monday to Friday, sleeping in the cab overnight.
* Conduct daily walkaround checks and report any vehicle defects.
* Ensure accurate completion of paperwork and delivery documentation.
* Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding updates and ETAs.
* Follow all current driving legislation and Working Time Directive rules.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence with Category C+E (Class 1) entitlement.
* CPC and digital tachograph card.
* Minimum 6 months experience preferred in a similar Class 1 role.
* No more than 6 points on licence (no DD, DR, or IN codes).
* Comfortable with overnight tramping and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
