Quality Assurance Engineer - Aerospace / Defence
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading aerospace client of ours, for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join a leading organisation within the aerospace and defence sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support quality planning and assurance across hardware and software projects
* Develop quality cost estimates and support Statement of Work (SOW) compliance
* Verify product conformity and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
* Conduct audits, manage non-conformance, and drive corrective/preventive actions
* Participate in design reviews, production verification, and customer engagement
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote a Just Culture environment
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years? experience in Quality Assurance within aviation or aerospace
* Strong background in Root Cause Corrective Action and Quality Management Systems
* Production environment experience and familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., MAA, CAA, EASA)
* Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC)
Desirable:
* Experience with data analytics and reporting
* Exposure to flight testing, line maintenance, or Boeing processes
* Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
