The role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Tutor/Assessor with a health and social care background to join our highly successful and professional team, operating within GCS Training, the commercial branch of the College.
1. Full time (37 hours per week)
2. Permanent
3. £29, - £32, Per Annum
4. Jubilee Court Campus (Fforestfach)
Key Responsibilities:
5. Plan, prepare and deliver assessments across a range of courses ensuring schemes/records of work, assignment schedules, are appropriate to the syllabus content and awarding body standards
6. Plan and deliver up to 12 hours per week of classroom training to learners as required
7. Ensure training and assessment strategies and materials are planned and accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners
About you:
8. Level 3 qualification or equivalent in relevant sector
9. TAQA Assessor Award or willing to work towards
10. Commercial knowledge, experience and understanding of industry, including training needs
11. Able to work on own initiative
