Chapman Tate Associates are working in partnership with a market-leading EdTech SaaS provider, currently investing in the expansion of their team. As part of this growth, we are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Senior Account Manager to lead strategic engagements across the education and public sector space.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EdTech sales professional who is passionate about driving digital transformation in the education sector through innovative SaaS and compute-based solutions.
Role Overview
As a Senior EdTech Account Manager, you will:
* Manage and grow a portfolio of key education clients (schools, colleges, universities, MATs, and/or government education bodies).
* Drive adoption of the company’s cloud-based SaaS products and compute infrastructure offerings.
* Identify and close new business opportunities while nurturing long-term client relationships.
* Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client challenges and recommending tailored solutions.
* Collaborate with pre-sales, customer success, and technical teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
* Stay up to date with EdTech trends, regulatory changes, and funding frameworks (e.g., DfE, Jisc, etc.).
Key Requirements
We’re looking for candidates who bring:
* Proven success in account management or solution sales within the EdTech or SaaS sector.
* A strong understanding of the UK education landscape and procurement cycles.
* Experience managing complex accounts, ideally in multi-site or public sector environments.
* Knowledge of cloud-based education platforms and compute/infrastructure-as-a-service offerings.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive, consultative, and target-driven approach.
Desirable:
* Experience working with MIS platforms, learning technologies, or infrastructure solutions (e.g., virtual desktops, data platforms).
* Familiarity with frameworks such as G-Cloud, CPC, or other education procurement bodies.
* Previous involvement in compute-related EdTech solutions (AI-driven learning, cloud-hosted labs, etc.).
