An interesting opportunity has arisen to work within the Health Improvement and Wellbeing team in Hywel Dda University Health Board. Applications are invited from enthusiastic, motivated, qualified and suitably experienced individuals for this Band 4 Partnership Support Officer supporting the regional Health Improvement and Wellbeing Team in the Public Health Directorate.
* Provide a comprehensive, professional and effective secretarial and administration service to the Smoking and Wellbeing team within the Health Improvement Team of the Health Board.
* Take the lead in supporting the administrative needs of the multi-agency services and partnerships involved for which the team has lead responsibility.
* Provide and coordinate administrative and secretarial services including the preparation of all agendas and minutes and any appropriate follow-up action as required.
* Provide project support during the development and implementation of strategic plans and service improvement projects.
* Ensure referrals and queries from clients are taken effectively and efficiently put onto our computer system and distributed to Smoking and Wellbeing Practitioners and Health Coaches.
* Assist in the development of performance information and intelligence to support strategic planning and performance monitoring.
* Display a considerable degree of initiative, apply a high degree of confidentiality and promote the values of partnership working.
* Support the management of projects by gathering information, analysing and presenting information and undertaking enquiries as and when necessary.
* Adapt to a varied and changeable workload reflecting the wide portfolio held by the Public Health Team.
Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.
