The Role – Primary SEN Teacher As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs Lead a class of pupils with varying learning profiles and EHCP targets Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and support staff Implement individual learning strategies, communication tools, and behaviour support plans Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment Assess and track progress, adapting your approach to ensure every child succeeds Support pupils’ social skills, independence, and confidence ✅ Requirements – What We’re Looking For To thrive in this SEN Teaching role, you will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience or a strong interest in SEN / SEND / autism / complex needs A solid understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies Excellent communication and classroom management skills A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with relevant SEN experience or placements are warmly encouraged to apply.
