Operations Support This role sits at the centre of a precision‑engineering operation, helping ensure materials, schedules, suppliers, and shopfloor activity all stay aligned. It supports purchasing, planning, finance and day‑to‑day production control to keep orders moving without delay. It’s a mix of coordination, problem‑solving, and keeping the shopfloor supplied with what it needs. Key Responsibilities Manage purchasing of materials, components, consumables, and subcontract services Plan and monitor production schedules based on capacity and customer demand Run WIP checks and resolve shortages, delays, or other blockers Issue shop orders and book in deliveries with correct quantities and pricing Maintain accurate stock levels and traceability Set up suppliers in IFS and update associated records Support month‑end tasks, including invoicing and stock/WIP reporting Maintain routings, BOMs/Manufacturing structures Run month end reports for Finance What the Role Requires Experience in purchasing, production support, or manufacturing operations Strong communication skills and a methodical, detail‑driven approach Confident use of MS Office (intermediate level) Comfortable working with suppliers, finance teams, and shopfloor staff Morgan Advanced Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
