Overview
As the Reservations Manager at Dining at Glyndebourne, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest journey from the very first interaction. Working at this renowned destination for opera and fine dining, you will lead the reservations function, ensuring seamless service, accuracy, and an outstanding guest experience throughout the season and festival periods.
Responsibilities
* Lead, train, and develop the reservations team to deliver a first‑class guest booking experience.
* Manage all reservations systems, inquiries, and allocations across dining and hospitality services.
* Oversee daily booking operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
* Collaborate closely with operations and events teams to align reservations with service delivery.
* Handle VIP and high‑profile guest bookings with professionalism and discretion.
* Monitor demand, forecast covers, and support capacity planning during peak season.
* Maintain guest data integrity and ensure compliance with company policies and data protection standards.
* Continuously improve processes to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Experience in a Reservations Manager or Senior Reservations role within hospitality, restaurants, events, or visitor attractions.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of bookings and inquiries.
* Proven experience leading and developing a small team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest‑focused approach.
* High attention to detail and strong administrative capability.
* Confidence using reservations and booking management systems.
* Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment.
* A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
