Compliance Manager
Location: Bournemouth - Hybrid working
Salary: Up to £70k
We're currently working with a leading UK Law firm, with a strong presence across the South West and London. They are looking for a proactive and experienced Compliance Manager to join their well-established team. The Role:
1. Lead, coach, and mentor the Compliance Team to ensure high standards of regulatory compliance.
2. Provide expert guidance on complex compliance matters, helping the business confidently navigate legal requirements.
3. Keep policies, key documents, and risk registers up to date in line with the latest regulations.
4. Take ownership of Lexcel and CQS accreditations, ensuring smooth applications and renewals.
5. Collaborate with the Head of Risk & Operations to drive compliance-led improvements across the business.
6. Monitor and implement regulatory changes, updating policies and training teams accordingly.
7. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by driving initiatives to enhance processes and compliance frameworks.
8. Deliver effective compliance training to ensure employees remain informed and confident in their roles.
About you
1. Proven experience in compliance management within a legal environment (qualified solicitor experience also considered).
2. Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and developing teams.
3. Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory frameworks, especially in legal compliance, AML, GDPR, and risk management.
4. Experience with Lexcel and CQS accreditations (highly desirable).
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
6. A detail-oriented and analytical approach to problem-solving.
