About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who may have:
1. Learning difficulties
2. Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
3. Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
4. Additional or complex needs
You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping students to engage with learning, regulate emotions, and develop confidence, independence, and life skills. The role may also involve supporting pupils with personal care, behaviour regulation, and sensory needs, depending on individual requirements.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have experience supporting vulnerable individuals, including:
5. Children or young people with SEN or SEMH
6. Adults or young people with learning difficulties
7. Experience in education, care, youth work, residential settings, or similar
A calm, patient, and resilient approach is essential, along with a genuine passion for supporting learners who need extra care and understanding.
