NQ Childcare Solicitor, Rochdale with Leading Family Law Firm & Excellent Career Development
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Childcare Solicitor to join a well-established, multi-office law firm in its Rochdale office. This highly regarded firm is recognised for its strength in family and childcare law. It offers a supportive, forward-thinking working environment with real scope for career progression.
This role would suit a newly qualified solicitor/junior solicitor with a passion for child protection and care proceedings, who is looking to build a long-term career in a reputable firm that invests in its people.
Applications from experienced Paralegals are also considered if you have a strong background in handling your own caseload and attending Court.
What the Role Involves:
* Handling Care Proceedings and related public law children matters
* Advising and representing clients in child protection cases, often involving legal aid
* Working closely with a team of experienced childcare solicitors
* Managing your own caseload under supervision while continuing to develop expertise in this specialist field
* Preparing documentation, attending hearings and supporting clients with sensitivity and professionalism
Ideal Candidate:
* Newly Qualified Solicitor and above with a training seat in family or childcare law
* A genuine interest in child law and a commitment to this area of legal practice
* Some experience with legal aid work is desirable
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism
* Eager to learn and progress within a structured and nurturing environment
