Job Opportunity: Accounts Assistant
Robert Half is excited to collaborate with an industry-leading organization to recruit an Accounts Assistant position, based full-time in-office in Monmouth.
They are offering a very competitive package: a base salary of up to £26,500 initially, flexible start and finish times, and onsite parking.
Role Summary:
The Accounts Assistant will support the Accountant and the Head of Finance in the efficient operation of the organization’s finances.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage cash flow, including billing receipts and payments, processing Direct Debits, and banking activities.
* Review and control Fee Debtors, with regular reporting to senior staff.
Payroll Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly salaries.
* Help prepare and process monthly tax and pension returns, maintaining accurate payroll and pension records.
* Process and cost staff expense claims.
Additional Duties:
* Assist the Accountant with daily accounting and payroll tasks.
* Provide support and cover for other finance team roles.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
* Perform general administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Finance or Financial Accountant.
The current salary is £26,598, with potential for increases based on experience and qualifications.
