Parts Support Operative / Van Driver
Monday to Friday: 0800hrs to 1600hrs (1/2 hr unpaid lunch)
* Any additional Saturday hours @ time and a half
Salary up to £14.50 per hour dependent upon experience
Join the team at Volvo Truck and Bus Ipswich - a leading name in commercial vehicles - as a Parts Support Operative / Van Driver. We're looking for a reliable, customer focused individual to support our busy Parts Department with deliveries, collections, and warehouse operations
What you will do
* Deliver and collect parts to and from customers, suppliers, and other Volvo sites.
* Support the parts department with stock control, goods in/out, and warehouse organisation.
* Assist customers and colleagues with parts enquiries in person and over the phone.
* Maintain delivery paperwork, vehicle condition, and ensure all health & safety procedures are followed.
* Provide exceptional customer service at every interaction
Who are you?
We are looking for:
* Full UK driving licence (clean or minimal points).
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Previous experience in a parts, warehouse, or delivery role is an advantage.
