The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to join our energetic PE department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5. You will inspire and motivate students to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and a lifelong love for sports and fitness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective PE lessons.
2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
3. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
5. Organize and participate in extracurricular sports activities and school events.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the PE curriculum and teaching methodologies.
About You
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. NQT encouraged to apply.
3. Degree in Physical Education or a related field.
4. Proven experience teaching PE at secondary level.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Passionate about physical education and committed to student success.
7. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
